We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst, with strong CRM implementation and management experience (ideally MS Dynamics), to join a leading City Law firm on a permanent basis as soon as possible.Having gained a good understanding of the firm’s core applications, processes and systems, you will assist with the development and management of projects, engaging with practice areas and departments to shape and scope the projects and deliver working solutions for the firm. 

We’re looking for someone with experience in a legal firm (or professional services environment) in a business and technical facing role, with solid understanding of CRM systems and strong commercial knowledge to facilitate understanding of the business.

Our client is offering a competitive salary and extensive benefits package and standard working hours of 9.30am – 5.30pm; flexible applications will be considered.


Key responsibilities as the Senior Business Analyst will include:

  • Developing a strong understanding of business operations, challenges and plans and priorities
  • Developing a good understanding of the CRM and referral processes 
  • Helping document and standardising how referrals and new client enquiries are captured, triaged and awarded
  • Developing a good understanding of core applications, processes and systems
  • Implementing business processes and initiatives and monitoring the achievement
  • Translating technical requirements into business friendly language for stakeholders
  • Extracting business requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, data analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Producing business cases, feasibility studies, gap analysis and cost benefit analysis to support decision making 
  • Working with requirements to create test scripts, plans and scenarios
  • Occasionally undertake system testing inline with scripts, plans and scenarios, providing comprehensive documentation of results
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal clients and suppliers
  • And much more!


What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in similar Business Analyst / CRM roles, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Experience gained in a business and technical facing role
  • Strong commercial knowledge in order to facilitate understanding of the business
  • Track record of implementing CRM systems, capturing and documenting business requirements and drafting functional specifications 
  • Previous experience working with CRM solutions
  • Document and Case Management System experience – practice management systems experience is advantageous
  • Confident and professional communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels and with non-technical colleagues and stakeholders
  • Advanced IT skills including MS Office, Project and Visio
  • Strong analysis skills 
  • Project management experience is beneficial 
  • Good business acumen
