Chief People Officer – Incredible Company – Stunning Offices in EC4 / Hybrid Working – Full or Part Time (3-4days/week) – up to £100k pro rata

Our client’s working culture seeks to focus on wellbeing and productivity, achieved through trust and living by their core values. The Chief People Officer’s role is key to building and supporting this culture, responsible for developing a suite of HR initiatives to recruit, retain and develop the staff and encourage first class performance.


Key responsibilities as the Chief People Officer will include:

  • Establishing, developing and maintaining a suite of HR policies and procedures to support and underpin the core values and culture of the organisation
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle from sourcing the best talent to managing exits
  • Designing people strategies and plans – identifying and retaining key talent and succession planning
  • Leading on the company’s Diversity and Inclusion agenda – articulating and embedding plans
  • Managing Learning and Development initiatives to meet the needs of the employees and the company
  • Main point of contact for all Employee Relations activity – employee queries, management support and employee engagement
  • Managing appraisals and performance management
  • Championing company-wide well-being, encouraging genuine work/life balance initiatives (i.e. hybrid working) and designing perks and benefits for employees
  • Developing successful relationships with stakeholders
  • Core values – working with the company’s Core Values Team
  • Monitoring the organisation effectively against key metrics
  • Payroll and Benefits – liaising with external payroll agency and independent financial adviser

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable success in similar senior level Human Resources roles
  • CIPD qualified
  • Strong HR knowledge and generalist experience
  • Strategic yet hands-on, proactive and dynamic
  • Eagerness and ability to establish strong culture within the organisation
  • Experienced in establishing a range of HR initiatives, processes and procedures
  • Extensive experience, knowledge and understanding of ER, D&I and L&D
  • A true people-person: confident communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful relationships at all levels
  • Approachable, supportive, motivated and enthusiastic
  • Ability to grow the organisation with the right talent
  • Good business acumen
  • IT literate with excellent MS Office skills
