One of our favoured clients, a large organisation in Central London, is looking for an experienced Communications / Marketing Executive to join their Communications team.  

We’re looking for an energetic individual who demonstrates initiative, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a creative approach to problem solving. Suitable candidates will ideally possess a minimum of 3-4 years experience in a Communications role with demonstrable experience, and a talent for, writing.

Key responsibilities as the Communications / Marketing Executive will include:

  • Supporting the implementation of internal communications projects
  • Researching, drafting and publishing content for internal and external channels
  • Updating the intranet and managing the editorial calendar 
  • Planning and delivering key events
  • Managing the website 
  • Planning and delivering the day to day social media plan – sharing content, reviewing engagement etc. 
  • Effectively manage, log and pass on media enquiries, including crisis management 
  • Manage and update the media database
  • Report production and analysis

What we’re looking for: 

  • 3-4 years+ experience within a communications environment
  • Previous marketing experience is highly beneficial
  • A talent for writing – evidenced through working life
  • Energetic outlook
  • Previous experience of campaign management, content creation and campaign analysis is highly beneficial
  • Confidence and ability to hit the ground running in a busy and diverse role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across all teams and with the press
  • Digital marketing experience is advantageous
  • Good knowledge / insight into new technologies (highly desirable)
  • Creative approach to problem solving
