Head of Knowledge / Legal Knowledge Specialist – London Law Firm – Central London, WC2 / Hybrid – £100k+ (DoE) + benefits 

We are on the hunt for an experienced Knowledge Specialist to join a fabulous law firm based in Central London on a full time, permanent basis. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop and manage knowledge strategy and drive legal knowledge innovation and expertise sharing.
Managing a team of knowledge professionals, you will enhance the firm’s service to their clients through effective knowledge management. 

 

Key responsibilities will include:  

  • Developing, implementing and managing the firm’s knowledge strategy 
  • Managing a diverse team of knowledge professionals  
  • Managing the implementation of AI, legal technology and other innovations in practice areas to increase efficiency and improve client service 
  • Helping practice leaders in terms of capturing and disseminating knowledge 
  • Creating and leading knowledge management projects 
  • Streamlining processes for all practice areas 
  • Collaborating with L&D to enhance legal knowledge training and development  
  • Developing client-centric knowledge tools 

  

What we’re looking for:  

  • Demonstrable experience in similar Knowledge Management, ideally within a law firm / legal practice 
  • Extensive experience leading knowledge management projects 
  • Strong understanding of the benefits of knowledge capture  
  • Strategic and business savvy mindset  
  • Good department leadership / management experience  
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to deliver objectives  
  • Forward-thinking and innovative approach  
  • Experience with knowledge management software / platforms
