IT Manager – Business Services – Central London – c£60k + generous benefits package

We are on the hunt for a proactive, forward-thinking and hands-on IT Manager to join our client, a rapidly-growing, world class business services provider based in Central London. 

The IT Manager will be responsible for providing support and technical assistance to all employees; therefore, we are looking for an efficient and proactive problem solver with experience of diagnosing system issues and errors and providing resolutions.

A competitive salary of c£60k is offered together with 25 days annual leave (plus BH) and a generous bonus scheme. 

Please note: this is an office based role, Monday to Friday.


Key responsibilities as the IT Manager will include: 

  • Managing and responding to all IT related queries 
  • Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
  • Diagnosing system errors and other issues
  • Resolving issues with networks and systems
  • Installing or changing software to fix issues
  • Analysing common complaints and problems and producing reports
  • Setting up new IT products (phones, laptops, PCs, Printers etc) and maintaining all IT systems 
  • Writing, editing and revising training documents for new and updated software and hardware
  • Maintaining access control systems
  • Supporting and maintaining the CCTV, Audio and Video systems
  • Providing out-of-hours support to the team

What we’re looking for: 

  • Previous experience and success in a similar hands-on IT Manager role
  • Demonstrable expertise in providing IT support within a busy, fast-paced organisation
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and diagnosing IT issues and providing effective resolutions
  • The ability to manage and maintain various IT and communication systems 
  • Familiarity with both PC and Macs
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical colleagues and clients
  • Tech savvy and entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to constantly learn and develop IT knowledge 
  • Ability to write training documents for software and hardware
  • IT literate – including MS Office
  • Focused, organised, self-motivated, flexible and dynamic nature
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Desire to go above and beyond
