We’re on the hunt for a commercially aware, ambitious Sales Office Manager, with excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills, to join a well-established organisation in Nelson.
The Sales Office Manager will be responsible for supporting and driving the day to day operations and growth of the business. Your excellent leadership skills will nurture and develop the office team ensuring they maximise their potential and your strong commercial awareness and strategic approach will help drive the business forward.
Our client is looking for a focused and driven individual. They are offering a competitive salary, 22 days annual leave (plus BH) and a great working environment. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
Key responsibilities as the Sales Office Manager:
- Managing the office on a day-to-day basis
- Staff development and training
- Managing team holidays and rotas, maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring all targets are achieved
- Actively developing new business opportunities
- Managing P&L accounts
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar sales office management role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to motivate, coach and develop team members
- Experienced in training team members
- Good commercial awareness and strategic approach
- Ability to develop new business opportunities
- Confident negotiator
- P&L accounts experience
- Proactive time management
- Focused, driven and entrepreneurial outlook
- IT literate with good MS Office skills
