Junior Solicitor – Private Client Law / Probate – Harrow, North London – £38k-£45k (DoE)

We are on the hunt of an ambitious individual looking to be undertake a Junior Solicitor role dealing with Private Client / Probate matters. 

Joining a growing firm in Harrow, the Junior Solicitor will support the delivery of high‑quality private client legal services under the supervision of an experienced solicitor. The role involves managing a varied caseload, developing strong client relationships and contributing to the growth of the firm by assisting with client retention and business development.

Key responsibilities as the Junior Solicitor (Private Client / Probate) will include:

  • Assisting in the drafting and administration of Wills, ensuring documents accurately reflect clients’ wishes and comply with current legislation
  • Supporting and advising on Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, including the preparation of IHT calculations and supporting documentation
  • Undertaking work relating to the Administration of Estates
  • Assisting with the creation and administration of Trusts
  • Managing matters relating to Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) including drafting and registration
  • Managing Court of Protection matters
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and providing clear, practical and empathetic advice
  • Assisting with initiatives to attract new clients
  • Maintaining accurate files
  • Adhering to regulatory and internal compliance requirements at all times
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge through training and personal development 


What we’re looking for: 

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or due to qualify imminently)
  • Experience in or demonstrable knowledge of training in Wills and Estate Planning, Inheritance Tax Planning (IHT), Administration of Estates, Trusts, Court of Protection matters, Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise competing demands
  • A professional, client‑focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Eagerness to learn and develop
  • Happy to work in an office role, Monday to Friday
