Client Services Assistant – Financial Services – Early Career Opportunity – Remote Working (UK) – £27k pro rata

We are on the hunt for a proactive, personable and professional entry level Client Services Assistant to join an incredible financial services company based in London on a hybrid / remote working basis.

This role is in the financial services sector but it is in no way a stuffy, corporate environment – this is an early career / entry level Client Services role that will grow and develop within an amazing scaleup, that is part of an existing and incredibly successful organisation/brand.

This is an entry level role that would be suitable for a recent school leaver / graduate with excellent maths and English, professional communication skills (with capabilities to deal with clients in a friendly and professional manner), the ability to learn new tech / platforms quickly and efficiently and is eager to undertake a support role within financial services.


Key responsibilities as the Client Services Assistant will include:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for client liaison
  • Responding to queries from clients regarding investments, how the product or platform works and queries
  • Assisting potential customers with the application process
  • Reconciling receipts on platform to bank accounts daily
  • Undertaking KYC checks (with support and guidance from team members)
  • Database administration
  • Reporting any platform anomalies to colleagues

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong academics including Maths and English
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally at all times
  • Impeccable written language skills with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Database administration experience is beneficial
  • IT literate including MS Office (experience using Slack is beneficial)
  • Ability to learn new tech / platforms quickly and efficiently
  • Flexible, professional, motivated and reliable
