Commercial Manager – Corporate Hospitality / Luxury Real Estate – City of London – £70k-£85k base + performance bonus + Benefits – Temp to Perm – Immediate start

We are on the hunt for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and commercially-astute Commercial Manager, ideally with ACCA, CIMA or ACA (full or part qualified) or a strong financial background in order to bring relevant financial understanding to the role, together with demonstrable expertise in commercial management, to join a rapid-growth corporate hospitality / luxury real estate provider based in Central London.

A strategic mindset, solid business acumen, proven expertise with ownership of revenue, forecasting and commercial performance is what we’re looking for; together with impeccable communication skills, an organised nature, a professional demeanour and the ability and tenacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and client-focused environment.

 

Please note: This is an office-based role, 5 days a week and will be offered on a Temp to Perm basis.

Our client is offering a competitive basic of £70k-£85k (DoE) plus a performance-related bonus. A comprehensive benefits package is available and the role will be based in stunning offices in Central London. This role has an exciting trajectory; the company always looks to promote from within, so the career path for this role could lead to Head of Commercial or Commercial Director positions.

 

Key responsibilities as the Commercial Manager will include:

  • Leading the day-to-day commercial performance of the business
  • Ownership of revenue, occupancy, forecasting and commercial performance
  • Building and managing relationships internally with sales teams and stakeholders and externally with brokers, agents and clients
  • Maintaining strong business relationships in order to generate repeat business and future opportunities
  • Analysing key commercial datasets in order to make sound commercial decisions aligned with company objectives
  • Managing property-related documentation, contracts and accounting including leases / lease costs, business rates tracking and landlord-related financial analysis
  • Undertaking extensive data and performance analysis, presenting findings to senior management and suggesting improvements
  • Leading and motivating high-performing teams
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow processes

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable success in similar Commercial Management roles, ideally within hospitality or luxury real estate sector
  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualifications (full or part qualified) or experience in finance – focused roles
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Commercial Management or similar is advantageous
  • Sound expertise in building and maintaining successful relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to bring credibility to role
  • Solid understanding of commercial agreements, terms and conditions of business, risk management, forecasting, rates, yield management and occupancy
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong IT literacy including Advanced MS Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is advantageous
  • Supervisory / line management experience
  • Tech savvy with an interest in AI to help automate and improve processes
  • Focused, organised, self-motivated, flexible and dynamic nature
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Desire to go above and beyond
  • Available imminently and able to commit to a temp-perm role
