Copyright Data Administrator

Copyright Data Administrator – Media Publishing – London – £29k-£35k (DoE)

We have a great contract opportunity for a detail oriented Data Administrator to join a fantastic company in London as their Copyright Assistant.

This is a copyright and data focused role, therefore any suitable candidates must have demonstrable experience in data administration (alpha and numerical data), impeccable attention to detail and accuracy and a focused nature. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also required as you will liaise with departments in the UK and USA and answer queries from internal stakeholders.  


Key responsibilities as the Copyright Data Administrator will include: 

  • Accurately entering relevant copyright information onto the in-house databases
  • Assisting with research projects (utilising in-house systems, databases and internet)
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure all information is correct
  • Proactively checking submissions to ensure accurate payment of royalties
  • Dealing with copyright queries from internal stakeholders


What we’re looking for: 

  • Demonstrable experience in fast-paced data administration roles 
  • Strong MS Excel skills (Advanced level)
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid numeracy skills
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels 
  • Focused, motivated, organised and solution driven
  • Interest in copyright, publishing and/or music is advantageous
  • Happy to work in the London office 4 days/week (Mon-Thurs)
