HR Advisor – Engagement and Development – 12m FTC – Central London / Hybrid – up to £45k + benefits

We’re on the hunt for an organised, process-driven HR Advisor, with experience of engagement and development, to join the HR team of a successful professional association in Central London.

Based near Victoria, the Engagement and Development Lead will support and implement the delivery of the company’s employee wellbeing and engagement strategy, helping to achieve a highly engaged, motivated and effective team of employees.
Taking the lead in designing and executing employee experience initiatives, and overseeing the delivery of learning and development strategies, you will draw on your knowledge and experience of best practice and emerging approaches to employee engagement, learning and development.

Suitable candidates for this 12m FTC will be CIPD qualified to Level 3 or 5 and have generalist experience as an HR Advisor. Knowledge, experience and an interest in employee engagement, learning and development is highly advantageous and will be prioritised.

Key responsibilities as the HR Advisor (Engagement and Development) will include:

  • Working with key stakeholders and senior leaders to design and execute employee experiences
  • Assisting with the staff newsletter (quarterly)
  • Assisting in reviewing, developing and implementing new onboarding processes
  • Supporting the identification of learning needs (training and development)
  • Overseeing the delivery of the annual staff engagement survey, analysing key metrics and trends and providing recommendations to management
  • Collaborating with senior management to devise and implement employee development programmes
  • Devising and implementing health and wellbeing initiatives and leading the strategy
  • Working with the HR team to design people policies which promote wellbeing and development
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation and HR best practices, particularly relating to employee engagement and wellbeing

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR Advisor role
  • CIPD qualification Level 3 or 5
  • Knowledge and experience in employee engagement, learning and development, and wellbeing
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience of communicating and engaging with a wide range of people
  • Highly organised with a process-driven nature
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong English language with excellent written skills and the ability to produce correspondence to a high standard
  • Logical thinker with proactive problem-solving skills
  • IT literate – MS Office and database management skills needed
  • Available imminently and able to commit to a 12m FTC
