Practice Manager – Wealth Management – City of London / Hybrid – c£45k (DoE) + bonus

We are recruiting for a successful financial services firm who are looking for a Practice Manager, with relevant experience in the financial sector, to join their growing team as soon as possible. 

This is a fabulous opportunity to join a great team of individuals who are genuinely lovely! This is a newly created, hands-on role managing the day-to-day operations of the team. This role doesn’t require ‘office management’ in the facilities sense, as the team are based in stunning serviced offices. This role is all about operational and strategic management – supporting the team, nurturing internal and external relationships and ensuring maximum operational efficiency and success. 

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of financial services, relevant financial qualifications and a growth and development mindset. Continuous professional development, both individually and as a team, is encouraged by our client, and they will support individuals looking to undertake further finance qualifications.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous relevant experience in financial services
  • Strong understanding of financial services including the advice process and regulatory requirements
  • Relevant financial qualifications are highly advantageous, together with a commitment to continuous personal development 
  • Practice management / supervisory experience
  • Experienced in managing KPIs and undertaking performance reviews
  • Experience of administrative management practices and procedures
  • IT literate
  • Confident communication skills
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)


Key responsibilities as the Practice Manager will include: 

  • Day-to-day management of a small but growing team of Paraplanners and administrators
  • Managing team performance 
  • Supporting the team’s career development and professional qualifications
  • Conducting team 1:1s, creating and managing KPIs and undertaking staff reviews
  • Providing operational and administrative support to management and financial advisors
  • Managing recruitment requirements 
  • Coordinating team and office operations and workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and success
  • Planning and coordinating company events
